Three teenage girls have gone missing from Bhanu Municipality-2 in Tanahu district.
The missing girls have been identified as Ashmita Tamang (15), Samjhana Sunar (16), and Sita Sunar (15). According to family members, the girls left their homes on Monday morning for school but never arrived.
When the girls failed to return home or contact their families by Monday evening, the incident was reported to the Area Police Office, Bhanu.
Police Inspector Raju Adhikari of the District Police Office, Tanahu, confirmed that a search operation is underway. He informed that the girls’ mobile phones were last traced to Pokhara City. Further investigations are ongoing.
