Commuters wade through flooded streets in Hyderabad, located in Sindh province, as heavy monsoon rains continue to batter southern Pakistan.
Since the monsoon season began in late June, torrential downpours have led to widespread flooding, resulting in over 110 deaths, including dozens of children, according to official figures released on July 14.
Images from the city show residents struggling to navigate inundated roads, as civic infrastructure buckles under the pressure of prolonged rainfall. Authorities have warned of further rain and flash floods in vulnerable regions.
The annual monsoon season, while crucial for agriculture, frequently brings deadly consequences in South Asia due to inadequate drainage and poor urban planning.
