Rajendra Pudasaini has been elected President of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) UK chapter.
According to the final vote count concluded last night, Pudasaini triumphed over his two rivals, Govinda Kharel and Manish Khatri, to secure the top leadership position of the NRNA in the United Kingdom.
Pudasaini received 1,482 votes, while Kharel garnered 977 and Khatri secured 496 votes.
In other results, Ujjwal Karki, Dr. Raksha Thapa, and Ram Prasad Kandel were elected as Vice Presidents. Diwakar Pandey was elected General Secretary, while DN Kharal and Krishna Devkota were elected as Secretaries under the open category.
Bishnu Kharel and Chhabilal Aryal were elected as members, and Rammaya Bista Thapa won the position of President of the England State Council.
Following his victory, President-elect Pudasaini stated that his priority would be to unite all Nepalis living in the UK.
